This is my Barney blanket. I bought it in New York City when I was… (actually, I don’t know how old I was) … very young. My mother doesn’t like to talk about said blanket because along with it comes the story of how she lost me, albeit for just a couple minutes, in a New York shopping center.
I distinctly remember wandering around some store with this blanket, not particularly panicked at the fact that my mother was nowhere to be found. This is probably one of my earliest memories - I couldn’t have been older than four.
Most recently, this blanket was found again in the faceless clutter of old memories that is our basement and/or garage. Winkey has now claimed stakes on it. I think he looks pretty cute curled up against it.
I probably have about 10-20 pounds on her, which makes her my ideal visual goal for shaping up & losing weight. She looks great!

Kaiti and I went to the beach yesterday before meeting up with Malloreigh and Lindsay for dinner / wine / Brasstronaut show and when we saw all the tourists hangin’ around these we decided to play tourist as well.
